Terms of service.
1. Scope of Work: The scope of work for the interior design project will be outlined in this contract agreed upon by both parties. Any additional services requested by the client that fall outside the original scope of work may incur additional fees. The initial scope of work may include:
1 30min virtual design consultation
Access to the Client Portal
Design assets for up to 3 rooms
1 round of design revisions
2. Client Collaboration: The client agrees to provide all planning materials necessary information in a timely manner and collaborate with the designer throughout the duration of the project.
3. Fees and Payment: The client agrees to pay the designer a design fee of $250 for the initial design scope outlined above and $75/hr for all additional services rendered. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of work until payment is received. The initial design fee only includes the cost of services specified in this contract and does not include the cost of any furnishings, taxes, shipping or other associated fees.
4. Changes and Revisions: Any changes or revisions to the original design concept must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. After the first round of revisions, the designer reserves the right to charge additional fees for any changes requested by the client after the project has commenced.
5. Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation by the client, the client agrees to compensate the designer for any work completed up to the date of cancellation, as well as any non-cancelable expenses incurred by the designer on behalf of the client. Non-cancelable expenses include the design fee, the cost of any goods purchased on behalf of the client, transaction fees, any design fees paid up to the point of cancellation.
6. Ownership and Use of Materials: The designer retains ownership of all design concepts, drawings, and materials prepared for the project until final payment has been received from the client. The use of any design materials provided as well as the use of any photos, media or other assets created of the final design for publication, portfolio or marketing must be explicitly approved by the designer prior to use.
7. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information shared during the course of the project.
8. Limitation of Liability: The designer shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the client as a result of the design services provided, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Acknowledgment: Both parties acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of this contract and agree to be bound by its provisions.
